Welcome Kenneth Novack
It is our pleasure to welcome Kenneth Novack to the NMRF Board of Directors. Mr. Novack’s extensive board service reflects a deep commitment to community and a strong belief in the power of philanthropy. A founding partner of Schnitzer West and CEO of MMGL Holding Corp., Mr. Novack has particular expertise in manufacturing, finance, international business, shipping, real estate and family business.
Prior to moving to San Francisco, Kenneth made significant contributions to the health and vibrancy of the Portland area where his board service included the Oregon Health & Science University, Doerbecher’s Children’s Hospital, the Portland Art Association, and the Oregon Investment Council, to name a few. The Life Trustee of Marylhurst University and Lewis & Clark College has also served as Chairman of the Metropolitan Arts Commission, the Oregon Youth Services Commission, and of the Portland Business Alliance.
Following their relocation to San Francisco, Kenneth and his wife Debby have become very engaged in their community, supporting health care, the arts and education through the Schnitzer/Novack Foundation and offering their experience and time to numerous philanthropic organizations. Mr. Novack is actively involved in creating opportunity and direction for improved delivery of health care through his board membership at the Eisenhower Medical Center and California Pacific Medial Center, and now with the Napa Medical Research Foundation. He also currently serves on the boards of the Kravis Leadership Institute, Lowe Institute for Political Economy, Bridge Housing Corp. and Claremont McKenna College.
Kenneth and Debby enjoy spending time at their home in St. Helena, visiting with their children and grandchildren, and becoming more involved with the Napa Valley community.
