Kevin Hirano

Executive Director

Kevin Hirano is the executive director of the Napa Medical Research Foundation. He has 15 years of experience in fundraising and non-profit management. Prior, he was a Major Gifts Officer at the Open Society Foundations, Director at the Gates Millennium Scholars Program, and Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at Duke University School of Medicine. Kevin has built his career as a collaborative, mission-driven fundraiser for organizations that are committed to making their communities healthier and more inclusive.

Kevin volunteers with APIAVote, the National Council of Asian and Pacific Americans (NCAPA) and the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra. Born and raised in Hawaii, Kevin enjoys cooking, hiking, and indoor bouldering with his wife, Yi Chen, a documentary filmmaker.
